Our memory verse this week at school is "Go into all the world and preach the goods news to everyone." found in Mark 16:15.

This is a command, not a suggestion...
Jesus didn't say go IF...
you feel like it,
have the money,
speak the language...
have a seminary degree...
no one thinks you're crazy...
feel comfortable...

He said GO! Period. There is no if, he just told everyone to go.

Don't wait until you feel called, because you already have been, he already said to go. Now, the question is where.

You may be called to Africa, or Russia, or Europe, or Guatemala, or Iraq, or Texas, or you may already be in the place where God has called you. You may even have lived there your whole life, but that does not give you the excuse to just stay in your comfortable little box, doing what you feel is safe, because there is a second part to that verse. Not only are we commanded to go, we are then commanded to preach- to everyone. That may mean seeking out the people in your own city who are in need of him. Yes, I said seeking out, because seeking involves movement like going. It may mean going into homeless shelters, and prisons, or it may be in your very own workplace or school. Wherever God has you, that is your mission field. God put you there for a reason, don't let it slip away, because one day people will no longer have the chance to hear the good news, and when we stand before the Father on judgement day, don't you want to know that you did everything you could to make sure that they spend eternity with Him? Or do you want to stand there knowing you had the opportunity...

but didn't take it?

  1. Preach it, young lady!

I am sooo... excited to see all that God is doing IN you and THROUGH you, as you have surrendered your life to HIM.

Keep seeking HIM, and HE will guide your life on a BEAUTIFUL path.
